9 september - one year later
Me an my oldest one was at the graveyard this Friday - on year after that accident. I didn´t cry neither did my daughter. Not that day.
That grave yard always makes me feel welcomed. We counted to five persons we knew pretty well - all resting within 15 meters. But also the older parts of the grave yard feels friendly. I was thinking about buying a space for my family....it would be nice to have it close to Mona-Lisa.
Statens haverikommision is ready with the investigation (Swedish investigation board).
The conclusion is that we never will know exactly what happened. But they also say that there was only 2 seconds between the train could be seen and the girls was hit. The girls didn´t react on the drivers signal until it was too late. He saw them far too late because of the curve and the bushes. The investigation board also concludes that that crossing has to be rebuilt. It is not suitable for trains to drive in 110 km/hour with that construction.
